Day 1: Dahshur, Saqqara, Giza pyramids, Camel riding & sound and light show
Meet your Egyptologist tour guide at your hotel lobby and head to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Look at the pyramids of Unas, Userkaf, pyramid texts inside the pyramids of Teti and the beautiful tomb of Kagemni.
Next stop will be Dahshur where you will visit the Bent Pyramids and enter the Red Pyramid. Both pyramids built by king Senefru, the founder of the fourth dynasty and the father of the king Cheops (about 2600 B.C), Stop for lunch at first class local restaurant before go to Giza plateau, the site of the three Pyramids (Cheops, Chefren, and Mycerinus), then proceed to Sphinx and the valley temple which used for the purification and mummification of the king before burial inside the Pyramids.
After that, experience a Camel ride around the Pyramids for 20 minutes. Then Transfer back to the hotel for a short break and refresh. In the evening, enjoy the famous ‘sound and light show’ in Giza and learn about the history of the Pyramids in Egypt and Return to your hotel.
Day 2: Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Old and Islamic Cairo & Dinner Cruise
Your first stop will be the Museum of Egyptian antiquities, which contain 165,000 Egyptian artifacts. Then, sail on a Felucca on the Nile for one hour and enjoy the fresh breeze. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant Driving to Saladin citadel and explore the Alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Proceed to Islamic Cairo, and stroll into Khan el Khalili bazaar, the most exciting souks that have hardly changed for centuries.
Complete the trip in Old Cairo, and enjoy, the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu serga.
Finally, move to the port to board your dinner cruise ship. Enjoy a buffet dinner and be mesmerized by the oriental show. Then you will back to your hotel.
