Overnight Trip to Moses Mountain from Sharm El Sheikh
The Orthodox Saint Catherine’s Monastery is located on the Sinai Peninsula, at the mouth of a ravine at the foot of Mount Sinai, near the Egyptian city of Saint Catherine.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to a UNESCO report, this monastery, along with the Monastery of Saint Anthony, which is located across the Red Sea in the desert south of Cairo, is one of the world’s oldest working Christian monasteries. At 22:00.
we will pick you up from your accommodation in Sharm and transport you to Moses Mountain, which will take around 3 hours on a coach.
We will begin our ascent to the top of Mount Sinai, which is 2,285 meters high and has roughly 750 steps when we arrive. When you reach the summit, you will be treated to a spectacular sunrise, which is respected in biblical terms because it is supposed that this is where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. Following that, you’ll return to St-Catherine Monastery for brunch before continuing on to Saint Catherine’s Monastery.
Visit the Monastery and the biblical Burning Bush region before returning to Sharm at 11:00 a.m, arriving at around 13:00 p.m., and being transferred back to your accommodation in Sharm.
